Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority Ratings at TAMU

Good mix of different kinds of girls over all. Love some and hate some. Goes either way

I dropped this sorority less than a month after getting a bid. First, the dues were outrageous. Almost 5,000 a semester to not even live in the house? I don't think so. I think they're broke from building their new house. Second, everyone was nice at first, but after I dropped they all were very rude and judgemental towards me. They are constantly doing COB to get their chapter total up, but stay away if you want to save your wallet and social life. Very bottom tier sorority full of social rejects.

I just feel bad for anyone who joins and can’t rerush. Good sisterhood but needs to get out there and mix with more frats and sororities, but no one likes them.

Definitely one of the worst sororities on campus. Mean, weird, funny looking, and socially awkward girls who just let anybody in. The other frats don’t even want to do anything with AOII. It’s just a large group of insecure girls who all talk bad about eachother. It’s a shame because there’s potential but none of the girls here are “sorority” material. Their image is just so bad.

I wanted to stay sooo bad but the dues were ridiculous. The girls here are also kind of weird and funny looking but thats what made it more welcoming than the other sororities. Everyone always talks so bad about AOII too which is so embarrassing. I just wish they'd get their act together :(

AOII seems like a friendly and nice place for girls who normally wouldn't be in a sorority, but it is not welcoming or affordable at all. AOII at A&M is a laughing stock. The girls are rude and fake. Girls drop regularly due to ridiculous dues. The sorority is in debt so they up-charge like crazy. The girls here are well known for being unpleasant inside and out. They're all very rude, dress bad, look bad, and lack class or respect. Smoking and underage drinking is frowned upon even though all the sisters promote it (and more). The parties and events are some of the worst on campus. Women's orgs are somehow much better and do more than AOII. Even on campus clubs are better organized and able to keep their members for more than a year. The other fraternities don't even want to associate with AOII girls, so AOII only does stuff with mens orgs instead. AOII at Texas A&M is an embarrassment and the girls in it are sadly aware. They constantly talk down on each other and gossip. None of them are real friends and they know it too. This sorority is so desperate that they BEG girls to join. They let literally anyone in. Join a different sorority, or crazier, join a women's org since even they have more to over than AOII. They're probably more selective too.

Alpha O is the nicest group of girls I've ever met! Everyone is super sweet and very welcoming, and I'm so glad I ran home to AOII!

This whole sorority is a scam. I’ve had friends that dropped that are still being charged dues and fines because the organization is so broke. Overall shady asf

Wow. Okay so seeing that my comment was removed, then it isn’t just a rumor. AOII did have alums recruit Wow. I hope no girls running to this sorority joined because of alums. Like imagine joining only to see that “sister” wasn’t even apart of it. This shows what their character truly is: lying and deceitful.

They aren’t the best sorority but definitely not the worst. All the girls I’ve met are actually really funny. They aren’t known for looks, but overall if you’re looking for a more lowkey sorority with fun girls AOPI is probably your best bet. They definitely pass Gphi and Adpi by a mile on their sisterhood and rank.
