Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated is a National Pan Hellenic Greek Organization that originated January 15, 1908. Founded by Ethel Hedgeman Lyle, the Black Greek Organization (one of the Divine Nine), shares the same colors and Delta Zeta (White Greek Organization). AKA has an international platform and seeks to provide service to all mankind.
