Texas A&M University College Station - TAMU Greek Life Reviews

SAE, KA, Sigep (just got kicked), Delt, SigChi, FIJI, and Pike are the best frats a&m has to offer, hands down. Any others just arent worth the time

Sig Ep got kicked off and KA is basically on probation forever so A&M doesn't really have any good fraternities anymore. Sorority life is growing though

Greek life is definitely growing in influence at A&M

no joint frat parties for some reason. frats all hate each other. must point to poor greek life.

It's up to Aggie Greeks to make Greek life better - the user below is right, the rush parties got canceled about 2-3 years ago which makes fall rush way less fun and hopefully/ideally those kind of huge frat rush parties can be brought back in the next couple of years; the top frats are still pretty strong I have to admit, and the middle tiers are getting better, it's all a matter of throwing great parties (betters artists/performers too) and earning better reputation by being more involved on campus and getting bigger+highquality pledge classes. Aggie Greek life is fun, it's up to all Greeks to make better and support each other. Bring back joint frat parties too, those were fun

seriously... having 14 sororities does not mean your greek system is good. just look at the frats for crying out loud. what does a and m have like 3 or 4 frats with houses... big LOL. cmon guys BIG L. O. L.

There are two schools in the state with as many as 14 sororities. We are one of them. Only difference is that we have core A&M values to uphold.

The system got so much better this year. Really making improvements! Gaining 2 sororities in one, year? I would say that's success.

Greek life is doing really good at A&M and I'd say it's just as good as Greek life at UT. Huge number of Greeks but small percentage of the school is Greek because there's 60,000 + students on campus. Sororities are very competitive and unlike most other schools, you are not garunteed a bid if you rush. If one thing could be improved it would be the fraternities. They are much smaller than most other sec or southern schools frats. If fratenities get bigger and more competitive A&M will be on par with any other sec school (barring Alabama and ole miss). Sorities at A&M are tied for first in Texas with UT and would compete easily with any other school in the south and would fall just under ole miss and Alabama I'd say. When the houses get better, they'd be Some of the top Greek life sororities in the south.

One word... corps. That is why Greek life is bad here. The corps is awesome and I love the tradition it just seems that the university can't promote both at the same time.
