Pi Kappa Alpha - ΠΚΑ Fraternity at Texas A&M University College Station - TAMU 4.5 I’m a pike and this is my honest opinion to anyone looking to rush. Firstly I want to say if you are looking to rush, there is absolutely no better way to meet and make friends on campus. Just rush. Whatever fraternity you end up joining doesn’t matter as long as you’re happy, fit in, and enjoy it. That’s all that matters. Positives: -T here are a lot of really good things about pike. First off the connections you gain and the large chapter makes finding jobs, brothers with similar interests, classes, majors, etc. so easy. - Large Parties, self explanatory. - Relations with sororities are super good, actives are very respectful and have great relations with every sorority except, Kappa. Pike and kappa just don’t mix. - Involvement within TAMU, so many actives are apart of different organizations that are super good. In my opinion (obviously bias) probably the most involved fraternity inside IFC, Academic orgs, and athletic orgs. - Athletics, constantly top in every fraternity league. - Reputation on campus is very good with most people - Grade focused - Christian based Negatives - Large chapter: this is kinda self explanatory but sometimes it can be hard to get to know every single class. There will be people you don’t know but with almost 300 members it’s understandable. - clicks: they exist, in a brotherhood I thought wouldn’t have them. This is something that is just natural after you have over 100 members though. - Having a voice: sometimes decisions are just dominated by a few members when it should be more of a conversation for the chapter. Last I would like to say that there is nothing wrong with this chapter and as I leave college I’m completely happy with the choice I made as a freshman. Rush pike.

Pi Kappa Alpha - ΠΚΑ Fraternity at Texas A&M University College Station - TAMU 5.0 A lot of these don't matter, but as someone that looked at it myself when I was a freshman, I thought it could help some other girls out. The guys at PIKE care about women and the best way, are great to hang out with, and have one of the best brotherhoods. Their chili fest is always the best, and I always feel the safest at their events and parties. I will continue to try to help other girls find the great guys in PIKE like I did!

They are so proud to be the biggest, but I went to an etiquette practice and two guys did not know each other that were just a year apart. Just sad. If you want to party with people you don’t know, you can do it for free at ng or pay to be a pike.

This frat is a perfect combo of fun parties while also feeling very safe at their functions. They care a lot about their philanthropy and seem to have a very close brotherhood. They also have the best parties (they should have won Chilifest 2024 FU SAE). Would def recommend a Pike party for anyone who wants to have a good time and feel safe at the same time.

Never once have I heard a girl say they felt the safest at pike or once care about their chapter size. Im going to keep my rating a buck tho because they run their chapter well just a few guys who are questionable.

Pi Kappa Alpha - ΠΚΑ Fraternity at Texas A&M University College Station - TAMU 5.0 Pike is top house and there is no doubt. They have great events and my friends and I always feel the safest here. Some of the guys make the effort to reach out for smaller hangouts too and we love that. Pike is going to continue to stay top if the genuine guys keep coming in. Great job Pike!!
