sorority plans

I am coming from out of state, for the fall 2016 semester, I plan on rushing but I know no one, and I am not a legacy. Is there anything I should be doing to get to know people/get sororities to notice I am interested?

If you want a top tier you'll want kd, chi o, or ddd. Kd you have no chance bc you're out of state, chi o you better have a good gpa, and tridelt is diverse so you have a shot if you have good recs
