recruitment-confused!!!

I am reading this in a perplexed state. My daughter is a double KD legacy and called last night relaying the same thing. She said that a girl two girls that grew up in our house barely spoke to her at ice water. I was crushed when she said she did not feel welcome or comfortable in the house both I and her grandmother lived. I begged her not to cut them and she was asked back. After today she said she still had the same vibe as again she was not paired with anyone from our hometown. I am a firm believer in never cutting your legacy sorority but I want her to be happy. It is just difficult to see her having such a strong push by DDD, Pi Phi Chi O and KKG and leaning that direction. I can only guess that recent success by KD has gone to their head.

KD is made up mostly from girls along the I-10 corridor between Lafayette to Mandeville. Mostly from Baton Rouge and still controlled by local alumni. If you are from out of state or north of I-10 your legacy will have little effect. Where is your daughter from?

North Louisiana as in Monroe, Ruston, Shrevepor or Alexandriat? Not many girls from up there join. Epsilon does not spend a lot of time looking at girls from these areas, primarily in and around Baton Rouge. If you are from one of those areas your daughter would probably be best suited to go Tri Delt or Chi-O as they both have lots of girls from up there. Each sorority has their strong areas for recruitment due to alumni guidance. There has never been a strong base from those areas. Sorry for the disappointing news.
