Y'all. How likely are the sororities at LSU to take a transfer? Like at my first college I went through initiation with a sorority but now I'm transferring to LSU as a sophomore, how likely is my sorority to take me? If this makes sense.

it depends on the sorority. Some are more picky (phi mu, ddd, chi o especially) some take all transfers basically (zta, theta, dz) and some I haven't heard anything about but would assume they would (kd, dg)

If your group allows you to "hang out" and get a feel for the group before officially affiliating, I would do so. The chapter at lsu may be different then your chapter of initiation.

So it is possible to just affiliate with my sorority after transferring? Idk how that whole process works

Call your national office and ask them if they know the policy for your chapter at LSU and what the overall policy is for your sorority (I am sure it varies from group to group). You might also want to email the chapter president and chapter adviser at LSU to introduce yourself and ask what their policy is for affiliates and ask if you could meet with them after recruitment (I am sure they are a little busy right now!). Good luck and I hope you experience at LSU is very positive and you find a second home!!
