sorority rush fall 2015
by: LPLGWhich of the sororities give bids to sophomores? And is it absolutely necessary to have two letters of recommendation for a sorority you want to get into?

Mom, aunts sisters, teachers, church congregation ask around and let them know you need recs. Spread the word to friends on Facebook call local alumnae chapters for each sorority etc. They don't have to know you personally....you will need two good pics of yourself, resume to send to the rec. writers and they will send that along with their rec. forms so do them electronically.

I think AOPi is colonizing fall'16 and will want girls from every year. I've heard Theta and Alpha Pi take some sophomores any maybe others too, but please understand that there is no upperclass quota and Freshman will be preferred at a competitive school like LSU. Have you made a lot of Greek friends? This can help. let them know you are going through recruitment . They might be a good source for recs. from girls that have graduated recently. Good Luck.
#6by: I did it
I actually went through rush as a junior and got a great sorority. Only two houses dropped me. They probably dropped me because I was a junior but maybe not. Don't know. Go through rush. Keep an open mind. Theta isn't a good house here, but they are good on the west coast and new england. Or join ADPi if you don't get a bid during regular rush. I say try it

I'm not a transfer, I was just going through a lot last year, which is why I did not rush. If I still cant't find any for a sorority, what should I do?
