sorority comments

Honestly, all of the sororites are great at LSU, and maybe a couple don't make quota. But kd, tri delt, phi mu, and chi o are so obsessive and ridiculous with their cuts during rush. but at the same time, who do they get that's so special? kappa, dg, pi phi, and zeta get all the good out of state girls. I'm just over the obsession with tri delt, chi o, kd, and phi mu. None of them are that much greater than the others.

You can claim I'm a "jealous" girl who "got cut" all you want, but to be honest, I didn't get cut by a single sorority and still cut kappa before skit because they were terrible rushers. Kappa is not considered top by anyone I know. Even my kappa friends know they're not top, but I don't know why y'all have a couple of girls whose job is to patrol this site to combat every bad rank with 2 good ranks. Y'all are a decent sorority, but have NEVER been considered top. The top sororities have traditionally been ddd, kd, and chi o, but chi o has dropped a little and most consider the typical top 3 to be ddd, kd, and phi mu now. But really, ddd, kd, chi o , and phi mu share the top girls who are wanted by everyone, and kappa is little competition. Please stop talking yourselves up. It's really embarrassing for you.

I will be honest. KD and DDD are always included in the top for a reason. XO, PHI MU, and KKG are included in the top 5, but it really seems like KKG self ranks themselves constantly on this site, because XO and PHI MU are known to be better than KKG. The most common ranking at LSU is:
DDD/KD
PHI MU
XO (but one good rush will make them pass up phi mu)
KKG

PI PHI

DZ/DG
ZETA (one more good rush will make them switch places with DG)
THETA

Exactly how many times do these "tiers" have to be posted? Why? Why? I am soooo sick of it. What is the purpose? I just don't get it. Everyone's idea of what is top could be different, so why does that make yours any better than anyone else's. Is to make girls who don't get in the "top" tier feel bad about themselves? I can't possibly see any other purpose. I JUST DON'T GET IT.

People just come on here to hate. It doesn't matter what you say to them, they're still gonna say mean things, just because. I don't understand what they get out of it. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion of what's top, and there's nothing wrong with self ranking - everyone does it. Besides, why not give yourselves all 5's, nobody else is that's for sure and you SHOULD be proud of your sorority - or else why are you even there?

As far as combating a bad ranking with your own self rank, I can see why that happens alot. If people come on your page and post vicious rumors your automatic reaction is to set the record staight and give yourself a good ranking to make up for it. After all, you can't expect to spread nasty rumors about someone and not have them come back and try to correct your misconceptions. If you allow people to repeat the same lies over and over without correcting them, pretty soon people begin to believe the lies. And just so you know, I'm not a kappa.

It really does seem like kkg spews a lot of hate on this website while talking themselves up. They're not considered a bad sorority, but they're not really considered to be tied for a number 1 spot with kd and tri delt either. Most people do consider them bottom of the top 5...that's why kappa has become a target on this site.

Do some of you girls even realize how hurtful some of the things you are saying can be? What are you trying to accomplish by this, do you get some kind of perverse pleasure out of hurting others? One of the main purposes of a sorority is supposed to be philanthropy. Do you even know what that means? You talk about morals and then say the most god awful things about people you don't even know. Morals are about more than who you sleep with, its also about how you treat other people - having a sense of right and wrong. Even just posting your "tiers" is hurtful - what are the girls who aren't in the "top tier" supposed to think about that, are you saying they're not good enough? Why do you need to do that? I'd really like to know.
