why does everyone keep clinging onto old stereotypes from years and years ago? so many of the houses are so different from the stereotypes that keep plaguing them.

What would happen if the "bottom" sororities left/closed? Think about it. Your Panhellenic spirit is shameful.

I've been reading on here and I probably do not have a chance at any sororities at LSU.It makes me wonder why I am rushing at all. I'm not a legacy and though I have all of my recs, I was only invited back to two parties. Anyway, I've learned a lot by reading on here, so if I don't get picked, I'm not going to take it personally. ( or at least try not to)

Is DZ having such a bad time with rush that they are now resorting to self-ranking?

I'm also from Texas and got cut from 7 out of the 10 sororities. I thank DZ, DG and Theta for actually giving me a chance. Screw the rest of the sororities, sorry for not being born in Louisiana, not my fault.

I went through the same situation as you texas ladies..it's not fun and it makes question yourself. WELL DON'T! Why would you want to be in a sorority that doesn't accept you for who you are? Would you rather have to constantly put on a front just to be accepted? No. So SCREW the sororities that cut you. It's their loss. I followed through and went greek. I realize now that If I was in any other sorority I'd be pretending to be someone I'm not just to please them. I can be myself with my sisters 24/7. You may not think you belong where you end up but you have to give it a chance. All the rankings on this disgusting site are embarrassing for the LSU Greek Community. Listen to your own instincts. Don't play into the follow the leader game. Think for yourself, formulate your own opinions. To heck with everyone else. At the end of the day it's you who has to deal with the results of your decision. Just keep your head held high.Best of Luck!

It's not really about if you're from Texas/another state or not. Otherwise "texas" probably would've also been invited back to Zeta and/or Pi Phi because they both have a ton of Texas girls. Have you ever thought that it's more about your personality, grades, extracurriculars, etc. instead of where you are from, how much money your family has, etc.?

If you're a freshman ranking sororities based off the hour you've been with each chapter, then you probably shouldn't be ranking. Every sorority is incredibly fake during rush and their true identities only come out after rush. So, basically, go away PNMs.

i dont know what chapter you belong to "hey freshmen" but my sorority doesn't fake it during rush. but it's nice to know that other chapters are owning up to it.
