that's just the kind of dismissive, we're better than you answer I would have expected. There IS no excuse for bad manners. I thought these were the high class good southern girls, they should know better than to make someone feel unwanted, even if they are unwanted.

wrong with making someone feel comfortable. It is excruciating to try to make conversation with someone who could obviously care less if you fell off the face of the earth. If you get treated well at all the houses, why would you feel badly if you get cut by some. After all somebody has to get cut. I don't think they weren't interested though, since they did ask me back. I really do think they just didn't think they needed to try. Sorry, but I think that's the case in this instance.

to say. I feel like I've said more than enough already. Just take it for what it is. Make an effort to make EVERYONE feel welcome. What harm is there in that?

i have a hard time believing you aren't another house just trying to sabotage. there are over 1,000 girls going through rush and 10 different houses with hundreds of girls rushing in them. if you can't list the house then i don't believe you...

believe me, but I wasn't the only one coming on here and making similar remarks. I was just trying to give you some advise from my perspective. If I was trying to sabotage then why would I tell you to be nicer to the girls? Thanks for not being completely rude to me though, that happens alot on here.

to learn their lesson then go ahead and call them out. otherwise they don't know who you are talking about and will keep doing it!

I seriously doubt it is pnm's writing things like "not my fav" on individual pages, but....if it is, then PNMs, please write your name so these groups don't waste an invitation on you!

I really think it is the regular mean girls on this site though.

with the great resume....unfortunately a lot of groups don't look at the resume or the recs, they have decided who they want before recruitment begins....they want their own friends from their own high schools who they have been rushing and drinking with all summer....but don't be upset, some groups do care about pledging quality girls and do care about what you did in high school. I think the comment that the "top tier" are looking at resumes that are just as good is such a joke because some of the girls from my high school that pledged the "top" groups were no where near "top" recruits....really 3.2 gpa in high school, absolutely no leadership (unless you count being the leader of the "mean girls" in high school, no service, hardly any clubs except the ones you pay dues to belong to and don't have to do anything???? Yep, those girls partied at Reggies and Mikes all summer with the "top" girls and got bids while the girls with impressive resumes from my high school pledged elsewhere
