Because if all you're going to do is whine and complain about how horrible everyone is then just leave I don't understand

why the choice is either go away or put up with the cattiness. What about the girls who feel it necessary to post all the crap going away. How do you defend some of the stuff that is said on here? Just because it happens all the time doesn't make it right. If we create an environment where that is accepted, then yes that's what we'll get. Maybe we should try to be better than that and call girls out on it when we see it. I just don't get it, I really don't.

stand: I agree lets try the call out. There was a chi o in my summer school class. She was nice to "her friends" but RUDE to the rest of the class. If you wear the tee you are now up for comment. I know whenever I wear the letters I represent my group so I make sure I have nice manners. Try it to all the chi o's who went to summer school.

those of us who believe in civility be the ones to go away? We have every bit as much right here as you catty girls do. Nothing will change if we just accept the status quo. Some of you are apparently proud of being "mean girls", but that doesn't mean the rest of us just have to shut up and accept it. Pointing out when something is wrong is not immature, contrary to what you may say.

yes thats true. but it depends, is it true? do you know anyone in the houses that know the truth and can stand up for you? and is this guy really that cool that people believe him? it would be rare that a girl has an entirely bad rush with every house because of one thing one guy says.

yes its true and I do not know anybody in any of the houses. And this guy made sure everybody knows.

i'm sorry that happened to you. i don't really have any advice, especially since you said that it is true and that you don't know anyone in the houses who can stick up for you.
don't let yourself worry about it though, chances are it really did NOT get around to everyone like you are thinking it did. and the girls in the houses will give you a fair shot. don't worry about something you can't control.

a lot of girls who did much worst stuff with lots of guys and they got into those top tier sororities. When I came to LSU last football season there were girls in 2 different dorms that bragged about getting drunk and sleeping around. They were proud of it and they got in.
