sorority comments

Would you be defending them if they weren't "top five"? I just think it's kind of ironic that you were calling her out for being shallow and then you sign your post from one "top five" to another. Maybe I'm wrong and it was an unfortunate choice of words and you would have defended any other sorority, but then again it does seem like you all stick together. It just seems like it's just as shallow to judge someone based on what sorority they're in. Maybe we all need to stop being judgmental in general.

Rush was for freshmen, not 20+ year old women. I am going through rush in the fall 2011 and I am 17 years old. And is this top 5 thing for real?

As far as the "top five" go, I guess it depends on who you ask. There are particular sororites that are more selective in the girls that they chose, they have a long tradition at LSU and therefore alot of people call them the "top five". It all really depends on what you're looking for though. You really should just keep an open mind when you go through rush and go where you feel most comfortable.

Yes top 5 is for real. There's a "top" at every sorority. I ONLY distinguished myself as top 5 because the poster that was so cruel to single a girl out like that without even knowing a thing about her or the quality of her heart, said "wow top 5 can't believe y'all took her". MY point being to all the people who think top 5 are girls taken on superficial reasons, think again. We care about who is in our house, and we want people who will be our literal sisters. We are not the ones who are shallow. And actually I was so disgusted by reading that post earlier, I don't even know the girl, but I swear i would have stood up for anyone that got called out personally like that for a reason like that no matter what sorority. That's messed up. And i wish I would have heard you say it in person, so I could have really chewed you out

You might want to look up the word literal. The only way you could become literal sisters would be to climb back into one momma's womb and come back out again...unless you redefine the family as they do in the trailer park in Denham Springs. We might want to snoop around in some top tier houses for some of these girls.

Wow, boy I've NEVER seen those rankings before. That is really news to me. Seriously, how many times will be enough? Just what are we all supposed to do now that you have enlightened us? How many times will be enough and what is it that we are all supposed to do to acknowledge the "top" sororities so we don't have to endure another ten thousand of these posts?

All of these "ranking" posts are sooo original. Never heard it before, yawn.
