is being a legacy or being from louisiana importan

going to be freshman next year and looking at LSU. My mom wasn't in a sorority but have 2 aunts that were... can i use them as legacy? Do big cityTexas girls do well in rush or are they outsiders?

Usually you are only considered a legacy if your mom, sister, or grandmother were initiated into a sorority. I would encourage your aunts to write you letters of recommendation for their organizations.
