spring rush

I went through formal recruitment this fall at LSU and was cut after the second round. I had some recs and had really good grades. And I really want to be apart of greek life. Would rushing in the spring be possible? I know they say that once you go through recruitment once most sororities will look at you again. So would going through spring recruitment be worth it? Or should I not even bother? I really need honest opinions!
