Out of state rushing

I’m coming from out of state and how fraternity rush is for guys that don’t know anyone coming in. I’ve heard than some fraternities will only take dudes from certain areas in state. How true is this and which ones take out of staters.

I know someone that’s out of state in every fraternity. With that being said, it’s possible, but you would probably have to have an alumni connection with one that is majority in state. You’re not missing out on much though if you don’t have an alumni connection to a frat like KA. They’re always getting into trouble and are weird around girls anyways. There are much better options to choose from. Good luck with rush if you plan on doing it 👍🏻

As long as you're chill you're golden. Good fraternities that have a lot of out of state kids are Fiji, Pike and Sigma Nu.

Fraternities overall don’t care where you come from and are not overly selective. You’ll get in somewhere as long as you’re not a crazy person
