fees
by: B#1 by: Depends
on the fraternity. Some dues are up front and paid in full, other fraternities do "parlor" fees that tact onto the membership fee (example: $800 to join, $400 for meal plan, $300 for social, blah blah). With parlor fees you can usually make things cheaper by taking off the meal plan or whatever else have you. Dues can be expensive, but a lot of fraternities will also work with you to make them more affordable for you. You can drop your school meal plan for the fraternities and that saves money (although i'd advise against it), or you can even pay the dues in monthly installments.
Hope this helped. Best of luck, man.
