after reading a number of replies below, i've determined this was in fact posted by a Pike. and it's hysterical. They made outrageous claims such as DZ being above Tri Delt (HAHAHHAHAHA) to throw suspicions. But Pike is no where near middle middle tier. They have minorities and fairies. And those are abundant. So this was posted by a pike.

As an incoming freshman, I've heard plenty of stories about DKE and the wild parties they have thrown over the years. Why are they not top tier anymore?

While I do think theta xi is very good, I don't think they are top tier just yet, they need more alumni support as well as being more selective in their bidding process. Though their parties are excellent. Like it says on the list, solid upper middle tier

sorry but Theta Xi is a few more good pledge classes away from being top tier. you have to consider some of the REALLY weird pledges in recent pledge classes. not acceptable, and not top tier.

RFM is the statistical report that shows how sororities rank after recruitment (based on a bunch of things like what percentage of girls invited back to a particular sorority actually go back to that group). The more popular groups have a higher RFM because almost everyone they invite back to their house go back to their house.

DZ is not below the middle tier sororities...everyone knows that but nice try

A ranking. It is a statistical analysis of the return rates for each sorority, based on "x" number of years. It is not meant to be a comparison between sororities. It is used to determine the amount of PNMs that the chapter can ask back to the next round of parties. The higher (more successful) return rate, the fewer the chapter needs(and gets) to invite back.

The higher a group's return rate seems to mean the better liked the groups is during recruitment, right?? If a group is successful year after year and have a high return rate meaning they invite fewer pnms back to the next round....seems to mean those groups would be more popular....and that seems to me would equate to being a higher tiered group.

theta xi is not ready to be top tier any time soon. they have a lot of work to do. such as getting the weird as crap older guys out and being more selective on who they give bids to. they're upper middle tier.

I actually think that Theta Xi would be top tier. I think that DZ is top tier too.

No one cares about what tier your fraternity/sorority was when you graduate from college. It's a subjective opinion whoever you talk to. For all the freshman all that matters from a fraternity standpoint is that they have house and a good amount of guys. Besides that don't join a fraternity based off reputation if you think the guys are asshats. Join who you get a long with.

Idk, DZ has been getting a lot better. Tridelt I feel has attractive members but then again, not as attractive as DZ, plus tridelts snobby ness is a turn off from them. Lambda chi has been on the decline for a while now, their parties arnt as good as they used to be, their members have gotten in a lot of trouble, and they are have less than 100 members now. all they really have is the house. DKE will always run the middle of the pack
