It doesn’t affect your chance of getting a bid but it does impact which houses will consider you. There are some houses that take pride in the large number of OOS girls they have and there are others that consider them easy cuts because nobody knows them. OOS girls definitely do not get the same consideration as in La girls.

If you bring your liberal California politics to LSU srst rush you will have a hard time getting a bid. LSU is conservative and no house will take you. Just stay in California . If you are conservative then you will get a bid.
