Message to potential new members

To have the best recruitment possible, you have to go in with an open mind. It’s hard, but if you go in wanting a certain chapter you might be very upset and close your mind off to other chapters. During recruitment the chapters put on their best face. You have to look through that and make genuine connections. Ranks don’t mean a thing after recruitment. Chapters will come on here and bash others in an attempt to get more girls to go back to their chapter to improve their score, but to end up dropping all but 100 girls. You can’t sit on this site and listen to the stereotypes. I encourage you to sit and make your own decisions. A lot of girls want to go to a “top” chapter and I have had friends who end up there and have the hardest time making friends and enjoying it because they rode the wave of what everyone else was saying and didn’t pursue the chapter they actually connected with. It depends on what you want. Go where you feel is home. Not where the internet or the word on the street pressures you to go.
