Alpha Phi is not worth it
by: regretAlpha Phi is not everything it looks to be from the outside. I know this because I rushed it and dropped. Everyone is so fake and nasty to other sororities and even to each other. The way older girls talk down to some members like dogs, the “dress code”, the private story where you publicly drag other sororities through the mud for no reason, and the blatant racism is not worth the couple thousand dollars per semester. The direction that chapter is heading is what you could call… So Not Alpha Phi (which is how they label girls who don’t fit the “image” during rush). Save your time and your money and spend it on some good therapy if this is the only sorority you’re interested in.

Wow. We really going low much earlier in recruitment season this year huh ladies? I thought last year was bad. Finals aren’t even over. Shouldn’t y’all be studying? Imma take up for all my sweet APhi friends here - bc I see girls that were cut from other houses in EVERY single one of the houses at LSU and if you are Greek here you know it is true. I laugh when I see comments like “all girls cut from other houses.” Sis please - get over yourself and look around your own house. They’re there! Same goes for the “if it hurts when you pee” comment. At least be original! Risky girls in every house too. Just keeping it real. PHC love from down the row ladies! But it’s gonna be a long summer.

1. All chapters ask their members to dress respectfully and yes fully? I don’t think it’s necessarily a dress code. Pnms are taught that during recruitment lol
2. You know all chapters have ideal girls for recruitment. They ALL pick fit girls that would fit in with their members and chapter. That is literally the WHOLE POINT…. Everyone does that. PBP & KKG have more carefree girls DG girls who love sisterhood KD preppy ChiO smart and involved etc.
3. When you’re in a chapter with 300+ plus girls there’s gonna be drama. That is literally inevitable. Not everyone has to get along that’s so unrealistic. And every single chapter down lsu row is guilty of speaking negatively on others.
#7by: I dropped kappa
I could have written this post and I dropped out of kappa. I was already initiated so that was the end of greek life for me but I just couldn’t take it any longer. It was nothing like all the hype that you hear. We need to do away with the term “top house” because it means nothing. Looking back on my experience, I would have MUCH preferred one of the other houses that some may consider mid or low. I have friends who are thriving in those houses and I’m jealous of that. But it’s too late for me now. Pnms be warned, don’t chase a house just because you hear that it’s “top”. That seriously means nothing and you’ll likely end up regretting it.

Pms also chose in being in KD & Chi O cause of their namesake and not because of genuine sisterhood. Let’s be honest no one goes for sisterhood first babe. It’s all about the name and then if the sisterhood is mid you tolerate it because you’d rather that than be in a low tier chapter who are forced to actually like is for the sisterhood because they’re no social benefits to reap
