Should I accept a bid from theta?
by: :))I’m going to be super honest here. I am a sophomore and really want to be involved in greek life. Sadly, I sent in my COB form late and the only sorority still up is theta. I’ve had 2 little outings with the sisters but I haven’t really clicked with any of them. The first girl was nice and all and we where vibing but not too a point of a connection. The next girl was felt like she didn’t want to be there or maybe that was just her personality either way I would drop but I wouldn’t want to rush this fall semester as a junior. Also they said another girl would contact me but is it worth it?

if you really want a sorority experience then yes take the bid. rushing as a Junior can be hard and theta still does everything the other sororities do. You’ll still get a Big/Little, still do exchanges and philanthropy events, still do formals and tailgates, and still get to wear letters and have a network of connections post-graduation. So if you really want that sorority experience, take the bid.

This one is hard, but my opinion is if you want the sorority experience go for it. But I also so strongly believe that if you don’t click with any of the girls, you may regret joining in the future. Honestly nothing to lose rushing as a junior, especially chapters doing snap bids. It really depends if you just want the experience or if you want the sisterhood I guess.
