Should I accept a bid from theta?

I recently applied to COB but all the sororities I wanted (ZTA, PI PHI) have already done their bid day. The girls at theta keep texting me and I’m thinking of maybe taking it? I understand It’s a low tier but I was wondering if anyone can give me some advice/comments.

Personally, when I did spring rush last year, the theta girls were all super nice and seemed really fun! Even though I rushed a different chapter, I still talk to those girls anytime I see them! I would go for it!

Also, tiers only matter to girls in “top” sororities. No one outside of that cares which chapter you pick, so don’t let that bother you. It’s just fun to be apart of Greek Life in general!

I may be biased because I was a Theta COB, but I have never once regretted accepting my bid. The tier system only matters to some frat guys and some shallow girls. If you feel like you can be yourself in a sorority, it’s probably a good fit. I hope that you find what you’re looking for!

theta does everything all the other sororities do. philanthropy, exchanges, Big/Little, etc. if you want a sorority experience, absolutely do it! plus you get all the alum benefits of a huge national organization once you graduate.
