Stop Blaming Your Panhellenic Sisters
by: Sad AlumDisgusting that people are on this website shaming Madi’s sorority sisters, while her entire chapter is probably grieving right now. This was a very sad tragedy, and the only people to blame are the male perpetrators. Stop letting the pettiness of the website turn greek chapters against each other. If anything Alpha Phi needs the support of the greek community right now. If you were one of the people who posted on here, how do you know she was out with her sisters? Or are you just shaming a chapter, on something you know nothing about? That information hasn’t even been released to the public yet. You should be ashamed of yourselves. I’m an alum of an LSU chapter and this story has been hard even for me to cope with. PLEASE support each other and stop tearing each other down during this very sad time. Stay safe, and lookout for each other.

I don’t think so sweetie. And I don’t think she went to the bar alone. How many Aphi actives were out that night, which chapter leadership invited and went to the bar with UNDERAGED TEENAGER(s) and proceeded to let at least one get GO-TO-THE-HOSPITAL blackout drunk and then LET HER LEAVE WITH RANDOM CREEPY MEN?!!!!! Nationals if not the police need to talk to Aphi. Totally unacceptable risk and endangerment that sullies the reputation of all Greek life. Spare me their temporary “grieving”,,, the girl’s family is in the most pain

Because blaming Greek Life/in this case her sorority fits within their hateful agenda - that’s why. Victim-blaming at its worst. Look at the other thread - it is clear all of those other hateful comments are from someone that isn’t a member of the LSU Greek Community - just like @wowwwwww isn’t. This person has absolutely no clue about the many details that happened on that horrible, tragic night - none of us do. It’s all rumor and speculation except 4 sub-humans have been arrested and accused of what ultimately happened to Madi. They are solely to blame. Yet the finger-pointing and name-calling directed at women (a house with over 300 members) genuinely hurting continues. What kind of person does that?! It’s truly sick behavior. our parents pay lots of money in fees to be in the security bubble and protocols and safety guards of a sorority. yet obviously alpha phi didn’t protect her and the house likely promotes an underage binge drinking culture. or did nobody in that house know she had a fake and was out getting blackout? I wasn’t born last night

If and when a chapter knows underage teenage sisters have fake IDs and are out drinking at bars, period, let alone getting blackout-level intoxicated at bars, it puts all LSU Greek Life in a negative light. There ought to be university and national sanctions if not dismissal of the chapter caught conducting themselves in this manner.

are you stupid? You think a chapter with 300+ girls knows who has and who doesn’t have a fake ID? Who is getting drunk and where and how drunk they are? They were still on break. You should like a moron. As if sorority’s have BAC level trackers on their members.
