what happened with chi o?

i keep hearing that chi o is on social probation for 2 years due to hazing. what happened??

Making pledges pick up olives with their butt cheeks then getting them into a bowl across the room.
If your olive falls out…the sister next in line has to pick it up and continue.

This goes on until all the olives are deposited in the bowl.

Great way to build sisterhood…huh ladies?

All of Greek Life? No - it just makes Chi O and the Office of Greek Life look pathetic imo. We all know if a frat did this it would be gone. Any other srat - possibly gone - definitely probation. Not sure how Greek Life even defends this to any other National org on campus that would question this. Terrible precedent that was just set….

They’re not on any probation, it was alcohol and they just got caught. Apparently they even have formal and just got a slap on the wrist

Don’t forget the “coercive behavior” part in addition to the alcohol part. Check the scorecard.

this will hurt them with rush. no one wants to be in a house that’s punished, restricted and has “problem” members putting everyone else at risk for more limitations. Not fun and bad reputation. they’ve had several years now of odd pledge classes too. and all the house renovation mess, not appealing
