Things are changing - PNMs are going to stop being obsessed with these stupid ranks - become more confident when rushing - and try to pledge where they actually want to go - not where this board tells them they should want to go because of some anonymous, imaginary ranking system.

But it's not imaginary... true ranks are based off of recruitment data. Certain houses get to cut more girls and be more selective based off of how many PNM's want to go back to their house. At the end of rush, there is an official rank list of houses that rushed the best to houses that rushed the weakest...

I agree that everyone should go where they feel most comfortable, but ranks are real...

RFM or Release Figure Methodology, return rates and required release figures after each round based on returns are very real - not disputing that at all. But recruitment teams have access to that information - not Greek Rank lol. The ranks we see plastered all over this site all the time are hardly scientific. They are anonymous and never objective - someone has an agenda. They are always a “self rank” in some way because everyone that makes a rank or comments on one is in a house - therefore - a self rank. My point is these ranks influence when they shouldn’t. Hopefully PNMs will go in to rounds one day with a truly open mind and base their preferences on actual experiences and not what they see on this site. Then return rates will be even more meaningful imo.

Chi o just isn’t as desireable anymore. Still one of the tops but not up there with KD. I agree with kappa and KD being at the top. Both have great recruitments and are well desired
