Going through recruitment

I’m so nervous, recruitment starts today. I watched other schools on tiktok and now I’m confused. Should I tell houses that I know I want that I want them? And tell houses I don’t like that I don’t plan on picking them? It seems like girls at other schools would actually say this to actives during parties. Is that right?
