Do most girls get their top choice for preference? If I have a 4.0, extracurriculars, and good looks will I be able to get a bid from a mid or top house?

You should be fine, but definitely keep an open mind when going through rush. A lot of girls get cut because they don’t know an active in the sorority, even though they have good grades and extracurriculars.

Eek I know at least one person in each house. But is knowing only one member enough, even if they’re very active in the house. Do girls who have positions have more say in who gets asked back?

it depends on how close you are to them and how respected they are in their chapter. if you’ve had beef with them or their friends you’re probably not gonna get in, especially if it’s a top house. you’re also not gonna get in if you don’t know someone in the chapter unless you’re from out of state and you’re outstanding

You’re assuming you’ll pref with 2 houses. Some girls only pref with 1, and others 0. Any while you’ll most likely get the house you rank top after pref, nothing’s a gurantee until you’ve got a bid in your hand. Keep an open mind. Good luck
