Transferring sororities

It depends what house you’re in. Some have policies where sisters can transfer chapters no matter what, and in others the chapters can decide whether or not they want the transfer to join their chapter so you’ll definitely have to look into your own house’s rules. Once you’re in the chapter tho, nobody cares. Youre initiated, even if it wasn’t at LSU, so you’ve earned your spot & literally cannot join another.

Hii! I transferred from a small private school where my sorority was mid-tier to an sec school where my sorority is also mid-tier. How it worked was my president sent in paperwork to my new chapter and eboard voted on me and presented me to the chapter and they voted on me. I didn’t know anyone at my new school but people in my old chapter connected me with people in my new chapter, so it would help if people in your current chapter have friends at LSU. Each chapter has its own policies, some might have national policies, my sorority didn’t. My friend who transferred to FSU did not have to get voted on
