22 year old freshman next fall

I'm getting out of the Marines and will be a 22 year old freshman next fall. I want to rush... Will I get a bid??

if you're 22 because you served the country you should be able to get a bid. Maybe don't go to some of the events with just freshman girls since you're essentially senior/super senior age.

This guy has serious advantages: most women love older guys (even a few years count when you are 18) and every girl loves a soldier, particularly a Marine. Semper Fi- go to all the parties :)

Fraternities don't care how old you are... well unless your like 30 or something.

Bottom line a guy in his early 20s who has been serving in the military will have no problem getting a bid if he wants one.

If anything it might be a huge advantage... you will really stand out in a good way during rush. If your a cool guy I would expect a lot of chapters to try and bid you.

Thanks for your service. Just remember some of the sorority girls will be like 17 so keep your wits about you. You may be more mature than most frat boys.
