What makes a sorority top tier?

We had first rounds today (videos for each house) and had to choose our favorite nine sororities. It was really hard because all of the videos were basically the same.
What really makes people on here say that some sororities are “top tier”? Is it because they are more “exclusive”? Or, because they think they are top-tier? Or because they are the oldest chapters on campus? Hardest to get into? Or something else?
I’m really trying to understand all of this, because, as the week goes on, I’m going to have to make some choices.

Ice water use to be in person so it sucks it’s just videos because that is a hard decision to make without talking to people. but tiers are stupid so don’t think of that when going through this week. Go where you connect best with the girls and feel like your true self. But their are technically tiers. Like KD would be considered top because it’s the hardest to get into. I promise you though if you get caught up just thinking about tiers through this week.. you won’t necessarily end up where you belong. After rush it really does not matter.

Don’t make it hard because essentially the houses are dropping you up until pref, you don’t do much for a few rounds unless ur maxed out of each round

Too much h0es in top tier sororities. There's a reason why a lot of them are single or date clueless geeds/mid tier guys
