Let’s be real here
by: (;KD and Chi O are “top” but literally why. Yeah they are harder to get into during the recruitment process… but that’s only because they take from certain cities and BIG friend groups from high schools within those 5 cities. The friend groups within these sororities are so secluded and half of the pledge classes hate the other half. It seems like these houses have been ranked “top” for so long even though when you really look at it… it doesn’t seem like a sisterhood. Not bitter at all by KD and Chi O just confused.

I can list a few reasons but this isn’t all and it doesn’t put the chapters on top. #1 kd has the highest gpa on the row. 2. kd and chi o have been on campus and built up a reputation for years. 3. bid day and rush. both kd and chi o are known for hitting the ball park with the best bid day. 4. exclusively with social media , we all see kd’s instagram page and to be honest it looks a whole lot fun.... chi o doesn’t post much but their instagram is in top shape when pnms scroll pass they are gravitated towards both chapters. 5. lastly girls know the chapters are hard to get into so when they do get a bid they join even if it isn’t right for them . only bc it’s exclusive.

Oh hey KD! Y’all are really flexing that one semester of top grades. How about the previous like six that chi o was top grades? Can y’all seriously get off this site, aren’t you supposed to be in rush week jail rn?

I mean if it was about how long you’ve been on campus then KD and DZ would be the top two sororities since they’re both 100 years old at LSU

going off of what the person above me said abt being well established. chi o and KD have really well developed alumni networks which build connections for girls later in life. having been at LSU for so long means that there are generations of KD and Chi O women who are deeply connected to those houses and girls want that support structure to get them jobs and social networks post grad.

That is not unique to KD & Chi O. There are several chapters with well developed alumni networks- Phi mu, DZ, DG, DDD…

ChiO’s Instagram is relatively boring compared to multiple other chapters and both KD and ChiO’s bid days are nothing special or out of the box. Similar themes and outfits. These have nothing to do with their status anyways. Phi Mu has definitely cranked out some of the best bid days in past years, js. They are “top” because they get high return rates during recruitment + gpa. Girls don’t really rank them as last on their list purely because of the notion that they are considered “top”. Every chapter is great. Just because a chapter is “top” doesn’t mean it is some wonderland. The majority of girls who enjoy their Greek life experience the most come from “middle chapters, upper top chapters”. When you are named with top status, you do everything to keep it that way. Chapters like Kappa Gam, DG etc have girls that love it because of the people and the sisterhood. Not just because of the name. Period Pooh. Gnight.
