greek life at LSU

How popular is greek life at LSU? I’m a transfer sophomore student but i plan on staying an extra year , i have a 3.9 college gpa and a 3.8 hs gpa , no greek affiliations , & i’m in state . I’m interested in making friends but I don’t know if greek life is for me or if I will even get a bid since i’m a transfer. Is greek like there really intense to make friends or will I be okay without it?

A little under 1/4 of the student body is Greek. There are definitely other ways to meet people on campus- tons of clubs and groups, but Greek life is a great choice.

okay I heard rushing as a sophomore is hard too but does anyone have any advice I have the same situation I’m a sophomore but staying an extra year

Many groups are open to taking sophomores. If your gpa is good, you should have some great options. Go for it!
