SigEp's Balanced Man Program is perfectly aligned with year-round recruitment. Self-paced challenges allow for members to enter and exit challenges at their own pace. Let's say your chapter recruits a member in August. The members from spring already in the Sigma challenge have completed three of the eight Sigma Challenge meetings that semester. Then the new member simply join the rest of the members in the Sigma challenge for the remaining five meetings. Then he can attend the first three meetings the next semester to level up to the Phi Challenge.

At SigEp, we're committed to having a fun and safe fraternity experience. We use our house in a way that allows us to focus on our academics, build our brotherhood and enjoy our college experience. While we don’t have intoxicating substances in our house, we still host social events that ultimately allow us to keep our chapter house clean while still enjoying a safe social scene with our guests.

SigEp is a substance-free fraternity and this is a differentiating factor compared to stereotypical fraternities on campus. SigEp therefore has a competitive advantage in recruitment and signs the best PNM's.

SigEp invented the industry-leading Balanced Man Program® that most other national fraternities are now following. SigEp's nationwide substance-free facilities policy is bringing SigEp into a bright future for fraternities. The goal for all SigEp chapters is to actively shift the paradigm in our facilities to promote an environment that is focused on academic success and away from the stereotypical fraternity environment. The LSU chapter renovated the house to remove bars, large open spaces and other structures built around the consumption of alcohol.

Of course its a joke.

This kind of stuff in on every schools greek rank page. Some guy who doesn't like SigEp will go to the national fraternity's website and copy and paste the nationals PC bull crap to all the greek rank pages to make Sigeps look like that are super into it.

Its good trolling.

But no one in SigEp actually likes the balanced man program but it is what it is....most national fraternities have similar stupid anti-liability policies now days.

Local SigEp chapters all over the country just have to deal with it. Just like other fraternities are having to deal with the stupid policies their national fraternities hand down.

"that most other national fraternities are now following." No, most other fraternities are NOT following you; they think you are tools.

All have this stuff nowdays...

SAE: The True Gentleman Experience is a holistic educational program for Sigma Alpha Epsilon members that provides a well-rounded learning experience throughout all of their collegiate academic years. In addition, the comprehensive program allows them to develop personally and professionally and calls upon resources to help our members become gentlemen, scholars, stewards and leaders in their respective communities.

The True Gentlemen Experience also provides standards and requirements that hold our members accountable. The experience is divided into five major parts to correspond with the progression of a member through his learning and development each year of school: the Baseline Experience, the Loyalty Experience, the Friendship Experience, the Honor Experience and the Fraternity Experience.
