by: California GirlI heard it's very hard to get bids if you aren't from Louisiana. Is this true? Any advice, I'll be rushing next year

Agreed but some sororities have certain quotas and are less lenient with out of state girls. Phi mu and KD tend to get more in state girls partially because they used to have a limit on how many out of state girls they could take and partially because they are big only in the south. On the other hand pi phi, kappa and tri delt tend to get bigger numbers from places like texas because they are extremely popular there.
