This is the true consensus from the Greek community at large.

The other ranking are just fugazi.

video about DKE from the 80s was insane, but I don't think they're nearly as good anymore. They might still have a lot of support, but it doesn't amount to much. Nationally, DKE is way better than their size would suggest though. DKE's alpha chapter at Yale has two living former US Presidents among it's alumni, and a total of five Presidents are counted among their notable alumni (would be six, but FDR had dual membership in DKE and ADPhi and got derecognized as a result). Alabama DKE was the first fraternity chapter founded in the South and arguably the strongest fraternity chapter in the nation historically. DKE has a higher proportion of good chapters to bad of than probably any other national and probably the best alumni list of any Greek organization (coming from someone who isn't a DKE). The fact that they didn't expand when basically every other large fraternity did is probably their biggest drawback since they only have about 50 active chapters, but their stranglehold on the Northeast is a pretty big deal.

just move KA back up to the top and it makes more sense.

idk about moving KA to the top. they're honestly not a favorite amongst the sorority girls this year. the freshmen are leaning more toward the other upper middle tier chapters like sig ep theta xi and pi kapp. i don't think any of those deserve top tier status, but i think KA can't keep living on the buzz they generate every year from Old South.

they don't even have that many hot guys. they live in a tri delt bubble (except the freshmen tri delt lean more towards kappa sig and sigma chi i've noticed)

they don't have themes for their exchanges so it's so much easier to study those night if you haven't in a while.. so many more people were at sig ep's halloween party which was on the same exact day as the KA halloween party.. uh sorry but KA's halloween party was a joke

Pi Kapp is def upper middle tier status. As far as comparing them with KA is like comparing KA with Theta Xi and Sig Ep. All four of the fraternities are good in different ways, and all have a unique and particular niche with upper tier sorority relations.
