Sigma Chi??? I am confused
by: OutsiderI don't go to LSU, I am a senior in high school and one of my best guy friends just rushed Sigma Chi. I came on here looking for info and I cant find anything. Can someone fill me in on how come it says they're inactive/ no one includes them in their rankings, but they are still taking pledges?

Sigma Chi is indeed active. They returned back to campus at the beginning of 2019 as a new chapter. They are more private and internal with their selection of pledges, meaning they are very selective. Chances are if you don't know someone already in the fraternity, chances are slim that you will get in. Exception to the rule is if you impress them during the selection process. On this website, it is listed as inactive as the old chapter was shut down couple of years ago. Most of the information on this site, refers back to the old chapter, so it's basically irrelevant. They need to update their section on this site. Hope this helps...

Your not wrong. Their comeback was weak and is basically the complete opposite of their old chapter. They are irrelevant anyways...

No one includes them in their rankings because they’re not a particularly well respected fraternity at LSU anymore. Not talking smack at all but that’s just the truth.
