highschool gpa and rush

actives, what was your gpa and whet sorority did you end up in? i had a 3.39 and i'm really concerned that'll get me dropped with no invites back the first round.

there’s more that factors into it than just grades, and I think your grades would not be in the red flag category for most chapters. Go in and give everyone your best.

A high gpa isn’t an end all be all either. I had a 4.0 and I still did not end up in a ‘top chapter.’ On the other hand, I knew girls that had below a 3.0 in high school that still ran home on bid day. We can’t change our past, we can only show what steps we are taking to work towards our future. Just keep an open mind, be yourself, and try your hardest to enjoy the experience.

I know girls who got in sororities with a 2.7 and I know girls who were dropped from rush that had 3.8’s and above. Grades do matter to an extent, but it’s not the only thing.
I had a 3.2 and maybe my GPA kept me from being asked back some places. but overall i think personality and presentation can easily overcome bad grades

Stop making up stuff and being one-sided you fool. It depends on the person and presentation during the rush process. Grades aren't everything. Good Luck!

Lol that’s exactly what i said. “personality and presentation can easily overcome bad grades.” I agree with you, grades are not everything.
