Incoming freshmen
by: Leave this siteTo al the impressionable 18 year olds out there constantly checking this site for reassurance about the unknowns of what rush has in store for you.... stop coming here. It’s not going to ease your nerves or make your rush experience easier by having “studied” the sorority’s (false and purely opinionated) reps. In case you haven’t noticed, almost every sorority has negative posts. Some more than others because the people that frequent this site loooove to constantly slander certain sororities. It’s so hateful and toxic on here. Don’t let some fool that hides by a fake alias determine your next four years....

Yep. Insecurity and jealousy make people bring houses down. Notice which houses are put down the most. You will never get an unbiased opinion on this site- things are always said to put one house down to bring another up.

I think you misunderstood the context of this. The writer isn’t saying that this site is to be taken seriously, she’s saying the exact opposite. It’s easier for current Greeks, especially upperclassmen Greeks to realize how pointless this site is. But if you’re a PNM with zero reference to Greek life, you are probably more susceptible to believe what you read on here. And the biased and false claims on here could have a negative effect on their rush experience

Partially agree with what u are saying - no one should take this site seriously - but I think that was her point? But what exactly is “fun” about the hateful and toxic posts? Cringeworthy all of them. I see what some posters throw out about houses sometimes and think how could someone even write that about LSU Greeks? How does that make that house feel? Or my friends in the houses that are the target of the “mean post of the day” and how they couldn’t be more different than what I’m reading? Definitely some insecure trolls that lurk this site...
