This is the order you should go in during rush. It's what all my friends did and I will admit some of them didn't get in the top 3 and they are having a grand ole time.
First try to go: sigma chi, KA or kappa sig. Elite girls love them, most are rich as hell and respected.
If not. Which nothing is wrong if you don't. Some guys don't like those 3 and others just know people in other good fraternties go: SAE, Pi kapp, theta Xi, DKE. You'll know before rush if you go Dke though.
If you don't like them your STILL not in trouble.
Sig ep, takes everyone and Girls like them. Same thing wit phi delt. Sigma Nu is decent. I agree with the guy below as in they are a last resort good.
Last these are the guys no one wants. Your screwed and your social life will be too if you rush.
Delta chi, they are new. Tke, Jesus christ, and phi Psi hahah. The losers in highschool who think a polo makes them cool. Creepy and everyone hates them.

Young one, you are clueless and have to be just joking around. Those two fraternities are completely different.
Signa Nu is okay and Phi Delt (well lets just say i don't like to bad mouth other fraternities).
I don't like the rush structure at LSU, which are going to go through couple days before school starts, and you will have to visit all the houses the first day, pick 6 on second, and then 3 on the last day.
You can only go back to the houses that invite you back.
My last three houses were very similar in my opinion.
They were Lambda Chi, Pi Kapp, and Sigma Chi. Unfortunately for me I chose the one that got in lots of trouble this past year, but it is what it is.
Good luck rushing kid and please don't be one of those try to hards. We will even cut you even though we can't be very selective these next couple years
