I was thinking about starting a new chapter here going into my senior year at the university. I am under the impression that fraternities without any history are the ones that reel in the 5 stars because spontaneity within southern tradition thrives. I am also convinced that there is some sort of ratio that exists between anglo/minorites that attracts only top tier sororities. Isn't 1:1? I know I'd be good at rushing because I only have friends in high school. Nevertheless, if you're interested I am the guy who leans against the clocktower who synchronizes lighting cigarettes with every 15-minute bell chime, I only make exceptions to this if there are a group of touring seniors in high school with their parents (if thats the case I light another cigarette to say, yeah that's right Im smoking a cigarette on campus, you can't do that back at your campus). Hey I'm from Minnesota and I'm coming to LSU next fall. I wanna rush but some of my friends told me alot of good fraternties only take southerners. Do any good fraternties take yankees like myself?? If so which ones?

There was a guy in sigma chi from alaska last year(think he transfered). It really doesn't matter if you're cool

Sigma Chi, Pi Kapp, or SAE as your top choices if not then go with Sig Ep, theta Xi, sigma Nu, or acacia. I know guys out of state in all those fraternities and they don't care. I feel as if KA and DKE are the two good ones where you must know someone
