For example, people on this website constantly say that Kappa doesn't do anything, so they shouldn't be ranked high. Alpha Phi is new so they shouldn't move up. But if these houses get back a higher percentage of girls that they want to return, they may (emphasis on the may) have a higher return rate than other houses. Sometimes certain houses rush better or worse than they normally do, and it makes girls in the other houses feel good or bad.

Therefore, the girls during rush might be saying that they all thought KD and ChiO was snobby and that they cut them, but the reality is that the houses probably cut them first.

Rankings are dumb because the same girl who would LOVE to be in a certain house might struggle to find friends in another house, regardless of rank. Therefore, you should reallyyyy just go into rush with an open mind and give every house a fair chance. :)
