How is Alpha Phi doing in recruitment? I think they started yesterday? I am a double legacy and am planning to attend LSU next year. I am hoping they are off to a good start. Best wishes to all the new pledges!

Taking about 250-300 girls. A lot were cut. Apparently cute freshman and sophomores with good grades were cut so who knows what they're looking for. They cut girls who didn't deserve to be AT ALL!

I would think they have to so people wouldn't say oh "they took anyone". And who knows how many cute girls with good grades were cut. Maybe they had bad reps or something. Just guessing, not trying to be mean. They have an extremely strong nationals and along with AOPi, Gamma Phi, and Delta Gamma, they are colonizing and recolonizing successfully all over the place. Good luck to them!

when sororities colonize they choose their members. Just as an established sorority meets PNMs and over the course of some time decides which ones will fit the best, so does a colony. They have certain criteria they look for, and they take freshman thru senior girls so that the colony has a similar make up to an established chapter on campus. The don't take everyone.
