is this common

My niece pledged a great sorority back in 2008. She loved the girls and had a great time.My own daughter is going through rush this year. I have a concern. My niece's pledge sisters are now supporting the men they are either engaged to or married to while these guys pursue careers in the music industry,or sales (without success) just allowing these women to support them.

Is this common now. Are guys laying on the couch while the women support them?

What kind of question is this how can you make such a broad assumption about all of greek life based on your neice friends from over a decade ago? what answer are you looking for? yes all guys your daughter will meet at lsu will be pursuing careers in the music industry, require your daughter to support them, and it will be solely because she joins a sorority . ridiculous question
