What do y'all think are the best sororities and fraternities throughout the nation?

Tri Delt, Chi O, Kappa, A Phi, and Pi Phi are the biggest nationally of all the sororities at LSU. Phi Mu and KD are really only big in the south but still good names, especially at LSU. All of those sororities are good ones, and ones not listed are great too! I'm only giving this list yo answer your questions but please don't limit yourself. Everyone should be given a chance but to answer your question those are it. As for fraternities I'm not quite sure but I know Theta Xi is terrible a lot of places and Pike is stronger most places than LSU.

To not mention Zeta Tau Alpha just sorta negates this whole comment. Zeta is arguably 2nd biggest after ChiO. Theta is also huge nationally

Delta Zeta, Zeta and DG are all larger nationally than both oth those sorry lol
Pi Phi and Kappa aren’t even in the top ten largest in the country. Do your homework

dg is pretty strong nationally and adpi is usually strong in other sec schools

XO and Zeta are the largest nationally.

Theta is really good nationally especially at very academically focused schools. DZ hasn’t been mentioned above but they’re pretty good usually, particularly in the south.

Dg, is not strong in the south even if they where founded at ole miss

Zeta and tridelta are not strong out west- never have been

Theta.is terrible in the south where sorority life is considered by all to be the strongest

Pi phi is also not strong in the south

So truthfully it all depends on where you go through RECRUITMENT and what sororities are strong at your school

in fact Tri delta just closed its chapter due to low numbers at UCLA - every sorority has good and not as strong areas - don't believe the hype of "nationally"

People don't care about national ranks because there are none. They care about getting into the highest ranked chapter available to them on their campus.

Some are arguing that the LARGEST are the BEST. That just means the most chapters. Look at prestige of the schools, age of chapters, well known alumnae, national acclaim, strength nationwide, not just in a particular region.

Having lots of chapters doesn’t make you prestigious or sought after. You

adpi is really good at florida, geogia and texas. theta is actually good in texas, but the just closed a ton of other chapters (auburn and mississippi). zeta is good in the south as well

Adpi may not be good at LSU but at other schools in the south such as Florida they literally are the Top House. The Top houses nationally are xo, Kd,,Adpi, Zta, Aoii, theta, Dg, theta and Kappa.
