Participation is usually allowed for any group under campus total. Total is set differently on different campuses but is usually close to "average" chapter size. Based on numbers after recruitment a total was set, so any group under that number could have added members in the fall. That number should be recalculated based on final fall numbers (resignations), December graduates, Spring transfers, etc... Once the new number is set, any group under total can do spring recruitment. Some national organizations make it mandatory for their chapters to recruit to total, some don't.

Yeah they recuited 19 for spring rush...sooo really? Why they had to do it all quiet like?

Guessing they knew who they wanted to fill their remaining spots so the 19 they got were COBs? So why do Open?

Aphi didn’t do spring rush this year but the sorority nationally participated in continuous open bidding. They do this year round instead of spring rush
