I am calling on all Alpha Phis to reject the recruitment strategies designed and overseen by Alpha Phi International Fraternity. I am calling for the end of the sanctioned hazing of our members, the blatant disregard for our values, and taking membership selection decisions out of the handles of our collegiate members. The "clip board" ladies need to go home.
For those who require more information, please go to Reddit and search for Alpha Phi Michigan where you will find an anonymous expose written by a former collegiate recruitment chair. She gives a very detailed and accurate description of the recruitment strategy as outlined by the women at the very top of Alpha Phi. It is currently being used on this campus too.
I call on the collegians of Alpha Phi to read the document fo themselves and ASK QUESTIONS. You likely have no idea that most of this is going on. You need to speak up.
This is a warning to the ladies of Alpha Phi International. No more stupid skits at regional conference. We don't care to watch you re-live your glory days. You need to step up to the microphone and own what is said in this expose and then tell us how you are changing it. If you don't, I promise you, we will be changing you at the next convention.

PNMs, read this document. You will get some insider insight into what this organization is really all about....superficial and cut throat. They clearly don't care about one another! Who throws their own sisters/legacies/friends under the bus for the sake of frat bros thinking they are "hot". Disgusting and disloyal.

It does t stop once you are in either. I got called out for gaining a few lbs. I wasn’t adhering to the mold of what an Alpha Phi should be. Sorry, I had double pneumonia and was on steroid antibiotics for awhile. Excuse me for gaining a bit of weight. Even if I wasn’t sick, that shouldn’t matter.

This article is hilarious. It's literally a mix of the most random crap with some of the most normal stuff about recruitment. Have you ever heard of a sorority not using bump groups? And it's a mystery that you want your strongest rushers on your strongest PNMs?
I mean I'm not an Alpha Phi so I don't know if they do all the stuff this girls says. Or if they jsut do it at Michigan. But is it really groundbreaking stuff here?
Kinda seems like only a girl from a top chapter would be lead such a charmed life that she would literally have no idea how her own chapter got to be "top"--until she was running it?? Come on!!! Did she think the chapter she joined (the one she WANTED to join and CHOSE to join) all just happened to be gorgeous...on accident? Coincidence??? Please.

I don’t think yes the use of bump groups that’s the issue. It’s the idea of having a not as pretty bump group just like having kitchen girls. And also only accepting or denying PNMs based on how they look. Like oh she may have a 4.0 gpa and been an equestrian and captain of the debate team and went to camp with 10 other girls, but she’s a little chubby and her face doesn’t look pretty enough for me so NO BID. Oooor hey this girl was on softball with a few girls but her gpa is in the toilet and other than that she has no activities. But she looks like a kardashian WELCOME HOME GIRL.
