screw lsu's administration

by:

So we can't tailgate on the Parade Grounds..... Now we can't tailgate in the houses.... what the hell does LSU want us to do!? They've pushed tailgating underground now where its going to be waaaay more dangerous. I can't believe they'd actually do something so stupid.

I agree it is stupid, but it's all about liability. Lofton couldnt/didnt want to do it cause at the end of the day 2-3 scrawny ass security guards cant do anything if 100 drunk 21yr old dudes decide to do something stupid, so they would be liable if something happened. When they quit, LSU would be liable if they let them continue in the house w/o security. Like I said it is stupid, but no one really had a choice. Its gonna suck way more for the girls tho cause like with the houses they wont be able to walk around as much.

My daughter was offered alcohol and she is underage. That is against the law. It only takes one out of control member to ruin it for everyone.

LSU is trying to keep all of you safe. Once you grow up and have seen numerous hazing incidents over the years like I have (many alcohol related) you too will react like I did. The problem with alcohol abuse is it only takes one out of control member to cause problems. I don't care if you can not believe a Greek alumni would feel this way but once you grow up and become a parent maybe you will understand.

Do you think you keep to yourselves on game days? How naive can you be. Please review the photos/YouTube videos from past parade ground fights of fraternity boys beating up each other. The sticker girls are watching. You also might ask to see the student records of who have been referred to the Dean of Students the Monday's after game days of Greek verses non-Greek. Just because I am a responsible Alumni of a sorority doesn't mean I can't feel the law should be respected.

fake news mam if you were a lsu sorority alum you wouldn't be calling sorority girls sticker chicks

and omg your daughter probably looks older so what if she was offered alcohol she should maybe just politely turn it down and let them know she's not legal

Ok this fake alum posting needs to stop! you're telling me yall didn't drink in the 90's at LSU??!! im an actual alum from around 10 yrs ago and am embarrassed and saddened by the disdain shown toward fellow Greek girls (but I truly believe u can't possibly be Greek). Things haven't changed that much!! There were fights & wild partying when I was there, so what big deal, it's a big party school, what do u expect?! im so sick of hearing about LSU's admin trying to ruin college for yall :( and the current PC culture at universities

I agree with the name sticker girls. We members from the 90's did not wear stickers. We purchased pins 14 karat and wore those just like our grandmothers in the 50's.

We laugh at the "stickers" and know it is the true legacies who have their family's pins passed for generations.

To Mr/Miss "Fake News" and "haha" name calling is so juvenile. Just remember many Alumni are all ready being asked for donations for LSU funding campaigns and hit up by sorority/fraternity for donations. Your national offices and LSU Alumni office may miss our donations. Who do think pays for repairs and new fraternity houses to the sorority and fraternity houses. We also are asked for sweets for rush, attend Founder Day events and even as we have lives outside of the Greek world make donations around our communities. It's so easy change the names of the organizations we put on our donations.

I am sure the national office of my husbands fraternity and my sorority would appreciate the lack of respect you are showing. Lastly in case you haven't realized our donations help pay the liability insurance your fraternity is required to have. You may have overlooked the fact that if you break the law serving underage members you not only put your fraternity at risk but the university as well.

Ok yeah this is so fake it's not even funny. No decent or even remotely respectable alumni would talk like this. Also if I recall the drinking age was 18 when you went here (which I highly doubt by the way you're talking about LSU greek life) so what the hell is your issue with 18 year olds doing the same thing you did at your age. I am forced to believe you are either someone from LSU's crappy administration or just a complete outside enitity that knows nothing of LSU. If indeed you are actually an alumni, I suggest maybe you start to listen to the current opinions of your chapter and realize the actual dangers involved with pushing kids to tailgate off campus. I guarantee you LSU doesn't care about our safety, they just don't want the media to see us, they couldn't give less of a crap if one of us gets hurt as long as its off campus.

No one said you have to leave campus to tailgate. You just have to follow some rules.

The term "Sticker girls" made me laugh. No one answered the comment on what happen to wearing a pin to football games. The type of individuals sororities/fraternities attract now makes this alumni question if LSU should go ahead and shut you down. The fact we are unable to have a civil discussion without name calling shows the true character of people now in fraternities.

How sad.

You cared enough to reply as well as Mr. Potty Mouth and the assortment of others.

Why would you take issue with the term Sticker Girls. Note the poster never said the daughter was in a sorority just that she was offered liquor at some fraternity tailgates.

Hey Pu....

I have to wonder why you think I am a man. Grow up little child, you were the kind of guy my husband's fraternity would have blackballed back then.

Why can we not have a civil discussion? There are still women on campus that follow the LAW and do not over drink. They attend Refuge, or Bible Studies.
I am assuming your parents were never Greek you having been raise to be so vile.

Name calling, not looking at a parents motive I can understand how Hazing is happening at LSU. So much anger directed at an adult who took her child's welfare into consideration.

I was just going to ignore bad behavior this weekend but after being made aware of the bitter, self serving behavior here I too will be part of the Greek Alumni Group looking for "Greek" tailgateds. There is a difference between drinking and WASTED.

Have fun but we will be watching.
