I'm a legacy and I'm rushing this fall. I already have 2 recs for my moms sorority, not including her. Would it be smart for her to write me a letter of support or just do the traditional RIF?
Also-- does who wrote your recommendation matter?? I .E if one was VP back in the day of her sorority and is now a successful doctor?? Or something like that? just wondering

You should be fine without your mom's letter!! Also, it matters to a certain extent. As in, if someone from the head office of the sorority would right one then it looks better if a previous member wrote it, but a letter of rec is a letter of rec no matter who it comes from.
