is it worth rushing as a sophomore with a 2.6?

On the plus side, I do a lot of community service, got involved with several organizations on campus last year, I know a lot of people who will give me good rec letters, and I'm open to joining any house.

What is your major? if it's like chem-e then maybe they'll understand but prob not... u can hope for ADPi. But at this point why join a sorority when you're already involved in stuff and your options will be minimal

Adpi doesn’t take girls with low gpas. They are higher than Zeta and APhi

my major is child & family studies, I just had a rough freshman year. My high school GPA was a 3.5. But yeah I know my options will be minimal, like I said I'm open to joining any house I just want to be a part of the Greek system. But I guess mainly what I'm asking is, do I have any options at all or am I probably not getting any bids at all? (and not that y'all could possibly know for sure, I'm just asking opinions about the likelihood)

Don’t listen to the person above, definitely go join a sorority. Just know that you will be limited to probably about 1 or 2 houses.

Best bet would be to take summer classes and classes during the fall to bring your GPA up. You could go through spring recruitment and have a more options with a higher GPA. The likelyhood of any sorority (even adpi) considering a 2.6 is not high at all, because grades are so important to everyone!
